中研院民族所2026年第9屆李亦園院士紀念講座「The Anthropology of Aging, and the Aging of Anthropology」(11/2)
2026-09-14
講題 Title：The Anthropology of Aging, and the Aging of Anthropology
講者 Speaker：Prof. Janelle Taylor (Departments of Anthropology, University of Toronto.)
摘要 Abstract：
This talk describes some of my research into aging, set against the backdrop of population aging as a broad phenomenon. I then discuss the discipline of anthropology itself, as having reached a particular age and stage where it confronts dilemmas and opportunities that are distinct from those of the past. I ask: what insights can the anthropology of aging offer, for the aging of anthropology?
